Ron was performing at dinner theatres in the summers during his breaks from college at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. He noticed a distinct trend over the years that all of his roles and jobs were mostly comical. So Ron decided to give Stand-up Comedy a try. A contest called the U.S. College Comedy Competition came to Colorado State and Ron signed up. For a first timer, he placed third and he's been hooked on laughs ever since!

Now Ron has toured the entire United States and has performed in America's finest Comedy Clubs, Universities, and Theatres. After doing "straight" stand-up for 5 years, he decided to stir things up a little and bring his love for a cappella music to the comedy clubs.

Ron's first album was released in June of 1995 and was called One Man A Cappella Jam! Ron began work on his second album on December 30, 1999 with producer Glenn Longacre. Released on January 26, 2001, Solo Effort takes Ron's music to a different level.
